About Us

Modern homes, ancient strength — powered by stone

Tavara Projects is a pioneering company committed to redefining construction through sustainable innovation. It is an innovative structures with granite interlocking technique inspired by traditional rock on rock construction, now engineered for modern structural performance – Granite interlocking rock into rock technique.
In response to the growing environmental damage caused by conventional building practices such as cement and steel production, which contribute nearly 15% of global CO₂ emissions. we have developed a revolutionary solution: Granite Interlocking Structures. These cement-free, steel-free structures minimize reliance on fossil fuels and reduce construction waste, which globally exceeds 2.2 billion tons annually. In response to the growing environmental damage caused by conventional building practices such as cement and steel production, which contribute nearly 15% of global CO₂ emissions. we have developed a revolutionary solution: Granite Interlocking Structures. About Founder

Mr. Govindaraju, founder and driving force behind Tavara Projects Pvt. Ltd., is a pioneer who has revolutionized rock construction. He was deeply inspired by the need to address environmental challenges posed by conventional construction materials such as cement, steel, and bricks. His passion for sustainable development led to the creation of the granite interlocking methodology—a system that reduces pollution, conserves resources, and promotes structural longevity. This is more than construction; it's a vision for the future.

He has dedicated years to perfecting advanced techniques in rock processing and construction.

A New Solution for Modern Construction Challenges

Conventional construction is high-carbon, costly, and waste-intensive. Heavy dependence on cement and steel leads to high CO₂ emissions, rising construction costs, short building lifespans, and massive demolition waste. Tavara Projects addresses these challenges with Granite Interlocking Construction.

Granite interlocking offers a durable, low-carbon alternative for modern sustainable construction.

Stone structures that stand tall through time

Tavara focusses solely on the art and science of creating long-lasting constructions made from natural stone. With a legacy focused on precision, commitment, and a profound admiration for traditional workmanship, Our trained artisans and engineers have decades of experience selecting, sculpting, and assembling a wide range of stones, including granite, marble, sandstone, and limestone. We are honoured to be one of the leading companies dedicated completely to stone-based building. From magnificent architectural features to innovative design installations, our work exemplifies strength, elegance, and enduring beauty.

Design and Consultation Services

We collaborate with architects and builders to provide professional advice on stone selection, finishing, and structural application.

Architectural Stone Structures

We build and construct temples, monuments, pavilions, arches, and heritage-inspired buildings from natural stone.

Stone Sculptures and Landscape Services

We build handcrafted sculptures, fountains, planters, benches, and other landscaping items entirely out of natural stone.

Stone Cladding and Facades

We offer long-lasting and exquisite stone cladding solutions for exterior and interior walls, which improve the aesthetic and structural appeal of structures.

Setting Global Standard in Sustainable Living

What Makes Our Technology Unique

Our granite interlocking system is not derived from ancient temple construction techniques. While ancient structures demonstrated the durability of stone architecture, the exact interlocking shapes used historically remain undocumented. Granite interlocking construction enables a truly sustainable building approach, where both the structure and the construction process are designed to minimize environmental impact.

Structured service. Seamless execution. Superior outcome

Consultation & Requirement Gathering

Understand client needs, site conditions, and design preferences through detailed discussions and site visits.

Design & Planning Approval

Create customized plans using eco-conscious methods, finalize materials, and get approvals before execution.

Execution & Handover

Begin construction or service delivery with precision, maintain quality standards, and ensure timely handover.

The Outlook

Our Vision

To promote sustainable construction through innovative granite interlocking technology that combines natural durability with modern engineering

The Goal

Our Mission

To promote low-carbon construction by advancing sustainable granite interlocking technology for the buildings of the future.

We aspire to contribute to a future where buildings are designed and constructed with lower carbon emissions, longer life cycles, and responsible use of natural resources, supporting global climate and sustainability goals.

Redefining construction 60 - 70% cleaner, zero compromise

Achieving a 60 – 70% reduction in carbon footprint is a huge step towards sustainable construction. It means that the building process and components, such as cement-free and steel-free granite interlocking systems, produce significantly less carbon dioxide than previous methods. Tavara structures decreases greenhouse gas emissions while simultaneously promoting a healthier earth by abandoning high-emission materials such as cement and steel in favour of precision-cut, organically sourced granite. This strategy demonstrates a strong commitment to environmental responsibility while also ensuring structural integrity and endurance. Lowering the carbon footprint by 70% is more than just a number, it is a step towards a cleaner, more sustainable future in construction.

Key Sustainability Advantages

Why Rock Structures?

Energy Efficiency & Natural Insulation
  • Granite has excellent thermal mass, meaning it absorbs heat during the day and slowly releases it at night, reducing heating and cooling needs.
  • Helps maintain a stable indoor temperature,
cutting down on electricity consumption for
    climate control
Interlocking System Provides Structural Integrity
  • The tongue-and-groove interlocking method distributes force across the structure
  • This makes it more resilient under localized attacks and prevents chain-reaction failures.
No Chemical Treatments Needed
  • Unlike wood, which requires chemical treatments to prevent rot or termites, granite is naturally resistant to pests and decay.
  • Reduces the use of harmful chemicals that can leach into the environment
  • Painting of walls not required for centuries
Water Resistance & Reduced Maintenance
  • Granite is highly resistant to water absorption, preventing mold and moisture damage.
  • Requires less maintenance compared to concrete or wooden structures, reducing the use of paints, sealants, and other materials that contribute to pollution.
Locally Sourced & Low Processing Needs
  • Locally Sourced Granite reduces the carbon footprint associated with transportation
  • Unlike concrete or bricks, which require significant energy for production, granite is simply quarried through Non-Blasting method, cut, and Interlocked.
Disaster Resilience Reduces Reconstruction Waste
  • Granite interlocking houses can withstand natural disasters such as earthquakes, hurricanes, and floods better than conventional buildings.
  • This minimizes post-disaster rebuilding and material wastage
Ecosystem Protection & Biodiversity Conservation
  • Concrete, being non-degradable, contributes significantly to long-term pollution. after the buildings are demolished, the debris, which is often not recyclable, ends up polluting the air, soil, and water. This persistent waste, coupled with the energy-intensive process of making concrete, contributes heavily to greenhouse gas emissions and other forms of pollution, ultimately affecting human health and the environment.
